Two-Day Face-to-Face Sustainability of Transformers Across their Lifecycle CPD Course
The University of Queensland’s Australasian Transformer Innovation Centre (TIC) is pleased to announce a two-day face-to-face CPD course in Brisbane focusing on the sustainability of transformers across their lifecycle. Transformers are critical to the reliability of electric power systems, yet they also have a substantial environmental footprint across their lifecycle. As the industry strives to align with sustainability goals, a paradigm shift is underway in the materials, manufacturing, and maintenance practices surrounding transformer assets.
This CPD course, led by Dr. Bhaba Das (Regional Manager, APAC), will explore sustainable approaches in transformer design, operation, and end-of-life handling. Emphasis will be placed on energy-efficient designs, alternative insulating fluids, and lifecycle management strategies that extend asset longevity while minimizing ecological impact. This course is geared to procurement, asset strategies, operations and maintenance managers and engineers in generation, transmission and distribution, renewables manufacturing mining industrial and infrastructure organization.
This two-day face-to-face course will bring industry professionals together for dialogue and sharing of knowledge to better understand the sustainability of transformers across their lifecycle.
