Two-Day Face-to-Face Complete Power Transformer Lifecycle: From Birth to Retirement CPD Course
The University of Queensland’s Australasian Transformer Innovation Centre (TIC) is pleased to announce a two-day face-to-face CPD course in Brisbane focusing on the complete power transformer lifecycle: from birth to retirement.
This course will provide the background information necessary along with practical experience from industry experts to understand the transformer lifecycle considering specification, design review, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), maintenance and end of life. This course is geared to procurement, asset strategies, operations and maintenance managers and engineers in generation, transmission and distribution, renewables manufacturing mining industrial and infrastructure organisation.

Key outcomes:
- Understand the basic of the full transformer life cycle from birth to retirement.
- Be exposed to the experience of transformer users, such as power Utilities, when dealing with the full transformer life cycle.
- Develop and appreciation for the ever-changing specification of transformers as well as the evolving practice of FAT and SAT.

The Australasian Transformer Innovation Centre (TIC) will deliver several webinars and CPD courses.
